We met on 4 April 2018, on a free-entry Wednesday at the Zeitz MOCAA. We often say that we met for the first time and never looked back - and, somehow, that is exactly what happened.
Since then, life has unfolded in ways both ordinary and extraordinary. We found our way through four years of university, weathered the uncertainty of going through lockdown together, and built a home side by side. Through every season, one thing has remained constant: there is no one else we would rather have beside us.
From the pebbled beaches of Milos to the streets of Madrid, from late nights in Amsterdam and a seat at our favourite London restaurant to winding mountain drives in Mallorca, we've shared adventures both near and far. Yet the place has never been the point, the joy has always come from experiencing it together.
The story of us has already given us more than we could have imagined, and yet it still feels like the beginning. We are endlessly grateful for the life we have built so far, and excited for all that lies ahead - starting with celebrating our marriage surrounded by the people we love most.
